How? By training professionals and parents on how to recognise and assess needs, as well as up-skilling them to be able to deliver effective interventions. Training the "people on the ground", allows for more children/young adults to have their needs met


Who is BSensory?

Beth Kitchen

SPD and ASC Educational Consultant

Beth has over 18 years experience in specialist education working in a variety of setting over the years.

Beth works all over the country advising schools and settings on inclusion of children/young adults with autism, associated difficulties, SEMH needs and sensory processing difficulties.

Beth is a self-confessed autism and sensory processing geek and is passionate about training people in this area. Beth has been nominated by the CPD group for trainer of the year 2023 and is definitely a woman on a mission to change the UK’s outlook on SPD and Neurodiversity and the associated difficulties


Training

BSensory is an accredited CPD Group company and all of the one day courses are accredited by the CPD group.

All courses are approx. 6-8 hours long and can be delivered either in person, online or on an eight week remote course (coming soon).

So if you are an individual looking to self-fund or if you are a setting looking for whole staff training (up to 100 people)- there are options to meet everyones training needs.

Consultancy

Beth travels across the UK to advise schools on how a school can meet ASC and SPD needs in their pupils.

There are a number of packages, that are designed to meet the bespoke needs of the school.

Consultancy services include:

  • Sensory advisory on individuals
  • Sensory room design and consultancy
  • Whole school/setting action plans
  • Whole school/setting training

Packages and Prices

Booking T&C

Normal Allocation: All courses will be filled on a first come first served basis, unless otherwise specified. Once a course is full a reserve list will be kept and any places becoming available will be offered to the reserve list in the order of when BSensory were notified of interest.

Confirmed bookings: No bookings will be accepted without a completed booking form being returned and received by BSensory and where applicable, with accompanying payment. Bookings will only be confirmed at the point the delegate received written confirmation that they have been allocated a placed on a specified training course.

Bookings by an organisation: An organisation booking on training courses on behalf of their employees/volunteers is responsible for ensuring nominated individuals are aware of these terms and conditions and that no places are guaranteed until a booking is confirmed in writing, as per ‘Confirmed bookings’ above.

Cancellation by BSensory

In the event of BSensory having to cancel a training course, all delegates will receive confirmation in writing and a full refund.

Cancellation by a delegate of delegate’s organisation

In the event of a delegate or their organisation cancelling a training course the following will apply:

All cancellations must be in writing

You should try and give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel a booking

Cancellation changes are as fellows per person

At least 30 days’ notice before the date of the course: 10% of the total cost

At least 20 days’ notice before the date of the course: 50% of the total close

19 days’ notice or less before the date of the course: no refund given

(Where a delegate can be substituted for another delegate from the same organisation cancellation charged may not apply).
